Yesterday Kori had a setback.
She lost all feeling and movement in her left side...however Dr Rao warned us this might happen.
As a result they have moved her to the ICU.
As the day went on she regained some feeling and a little bit of movement.
Yesterday they would not feed her. We are not sure why they wouldn't...it was "Dr.'s Orders". She was starving all day. Mom said it was very upsetting.
Kori is in and out of sleep most of the day. Occasionally she will open her one eye that is not swollen shut. Mom said they just hold her hand and stare at her all day.
Dr. Rao had to leave for a Medical Conf in DC so Kori has a new weekend dr., Dr Prabhu.
She is having another CT scan this morning.
That is all I know for now.
Thank you for the updates. We check every day. We are praying for progress every day. Your parents are superheroes and so is Kori.

ReplyDeleteThank you for the updates and photos. Nancy said she improved today so that is good news. I'm wondering what was learned from the CT scan.
