Today seemed like a lovely day to have a root touchup and a trim.
But then again, any day is a good day to hide the grays.
I should know.
Here's a Little Girls secret... we all look younger than we are but it's all a fraud...
We are all as gray as Grandmas.
Anyway, a girl always feels better when she leaves the salon.
This is Cicely Stuart.
She has been doing Kori's hair for years and Kori's hair is always beautiful.
She was in serious need of Cicely
I asked Mom if she got an after shot
And she said.... and I quote
"it got chaotic there at the end and I just forgot...
it looked the same as it always does...
she just got some highlights and a trim...and Cicely styled it real cute. We chickened out on cutting it short. We'll see how this goes."
It was like she thought she was in trouble
or something and had to justify her actions.
Poor Lady.... she is campaigning to be the Mayor of Crazytown. Then Dad transferred Kori from her salon chair to her wheelchair and from her wheelchair to his truck and off they went. Kori's hair looking beautiful again.
We have by far the greatest parents on earth.
I could go on and on about them for hours.
They are two of our biggest blessings.
They have given us all they have for the last 44 years
and they will continue to do so for the next 44, I am sure.

Cicely was absolutely wonderful to Kori. She was so kind and gentle and careful around her incision and then in the end after about 2 hours, she wouldn't let us pay her. There are just some really lovely people in the world and Cicely is one of them.
ReplyDeleteAhhh. I was looking forward to seeing the new do. But, it will be wonderful if Kori can have some constants in her life...soemthing that doesn't need to change. So, yay for the long hair and away with the grey.
